What are manufacturer certifications and why your contractor should be certified. Manufacturers allow a select few contractors to become certified installers for their products.  A manufacturer certified contractor agrees to install their products according to the manufacturer’s specifications.  This gives the customer the maximum warranty for their product from the manufacturer.  Having the product installed correctly gives the customer exactly what they paid for.  Having a manufacturer certified contractor is as important as having a licensed contractor on your project.
